Re-roofing and roof replacement
Full and partial re-roofing on pitched roofs across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, correcting the leaks that drive penetrating damp.
Why diagnosis matters
Treat the cause, then repair the damage
A tired or failing roof covering is one of the most common sources of penetrating damp inside a property. We strip and re-cover pitched roofs, renew battens, felt and flashings, and leave the building watertight before internal damage is reinstated.

Failed flashings at junctions and abutments
Storm damage and long-term weathering
Previous poor-quality or incomplete repairs
Inspection method
A clear work sequence
Step 1
Inspect the covering, structure and rainwater routes
Step 2
Agree full or partial re-roofing scope in writing
Step 3
Strip, renew battens, underlay, tiles and flashings
Step 4

Scope boundaries
Honest about what the work does—and does not—cover
We carry out pitched re-roofing, new battens, underlay, tiles, ridge and flashing work in-house. Major structural roof rebuilds, engineered timber design and building-control sign-off are referred to the appropriate specialist where required.
Common questions
About re-roofing and roof replacement
Do I need a full re-roof or just repairs?+
It depends on the condition of the covering, underlay and fixings. Where damage is localised we repair; where the underlay and fixings are widely failed, a re-roof is usually more cost-effective than repeated patching.
Will re-roofing stop my damp?+
If the damp is caused by water entering through the roof, correcting the covering removes the source. Internal finishes are then allowed to dry before reinstatement. We confirm the route by survey first.
Can you match my existing tiles?+
We aim to match profile and colour where possible. On older properties an exact match is not always available, and we will discuss the closest suitable option before ordering.
