Roof repairs and leak repairs

Targeted pitched and flat roof repairs — slipped tiles, flashings and small leaks that let damp into the property.

Why diagnosis matters

Treat the cause, then repair the damage

Not every roof needs replacing. Where the covering is sound but a defect is letting water in, a focused repair to tiles, flashings or junctions can stop the leak and protect the interior. We trace the route rather than simply sealing the visible mark.

One or two slipped or broken tiles
A localised leak after heavy rain
Damaged or lifted flashing at a junction
Loose ridge or verge details

What we consider

Possible causes and lookalikes

01

Individual failed or displaced tiles

02

Cracked or lifted flashings

03

Failed mortar at ridges and verges

04

Storm damage to a specific area

Inspection method

A clear work sequence

Step 1

Locate the actual entry point, not just the stain

Step 2

Access safely and confirm the defect

Step 3

Repair tiles, flashings or junctions

Step 4

Advise if wider re-roofing is the better long-term option

Scope boundaries

Honest about what the work does—and does not—cover

We carry out pitched and flat roof repairs, flashing and junction work in-house. Where the covering is widely failed we advise re-roofing instead of repeated patching, and refer structural roof matters where needed.

Common questions

About roof repairs and leak repairs

Can you find where my roof is leaking?+

Yes. Roof leaks often show up some distance from the entry point, so we inspect the covering, flashings and junctions to trace the route before repairing.

Is a repair worth it on an old roof?+

If the covering is generally sound, a repair is sensible. If the underlay and fixings are failing throughout, we will be honest that a re-roof is the more durable option.

Do you do emergency patch-ups?+

We can carry out a temporary make-safe to limit water entry where access allows, then return for a proper repair. We confirm what is realistic when you call.
