Moisture meets a cold surface
Everyday moisture can raise humidity. Where walls, ceilings or window reveals are colder, surface humidity rises further and condensation can form—even when water droplets are not obvious.

Airflow matters
Corners, cupboards and spaces behind furniture receive less warm air. Bathrooms and kitchens also need effective local extract with a viable duct route and replacement-air path.

Do not overlook defects
Leaks and penetrating damp can support mould too. A balanced assessment checks building fabric before assuming behaviour is the only cause.
